Each day, we make a choice. Will we choose to trust God for all, as God as promises to provide or will we try and be self-dependent and depend upon on our own powers? Jesus’ chooses to depend upon God for all and invites us, Children of God, to do the same.
Mountain Top Experiences
We have to come down and live out our “transfiguration,” the clarity we received on the mountain top. Some times that is not easy.
Forgiven
We are forgiven and we are called to forgive ourselves and one another. I wonder this week, what is it in ourselves for which we need to forgive ourselves. I wonder for what we need to forgive others.
All we need is love
Paul, in our Scripture reading on Sunday, reminded us what kind of love has God’s power to drive out hate. It is love that is patient, kind, selfless and the list goes on. That kind of love can be a powerful source for healing, for bridge building, and for unity.
You Belong
Today and always, God declares to us, as children of God, “You are my child. In you I am well-pleased.” May you hear those words, believe those words, trust those words and then go and live as God’s child, called to share God’s love and light with all.
